Nigerian Army Releases Statement Confirming The Deaths Of Soldiers In Recent Boko Haram Attacks

On Sunday 25 April 2021, troops of Operation Lafiya Dole sent in Mainok, Borno State, went under multi-directional assaults by Boko Haram/ISWAP psychological oppressors mounted on unsubstantiated number of Gun Trucks just as infantrymen with conceivable goal of building up a ghost caliphate around there. The psychological oppressors were held by the brave soldiers of 156 Task Force Battalion until the appearance of support groups from 7 Division, Special Army Super Camp Ngamdu and Army Super Camp 4, Benesheik. 

During the discharge battle which kept going a few hours, the chivalrous soldiers strategically attracted some of the psychological militants into a killing zone inside their camp where the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole mixed Alpha planes and helicopter gunship which alternated in pulverizing the generally caught fear mongers. In the outcome of the experience, scores of Boko Haram psychological militants were killed with their body part littering the region and some of their weapon trucks obliterated. 

Deplorably, one chivalrous Officer and six troopers paid the preeminent penance while 5 different warriors supported different levels of wounds. The injured troopers have effectively been cleared to the military clinical office for treatment. At present, troops are in full control of Mainok and environ as abuse for escaping psychological oppressors is progressing. 

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru has cheered troops of Operation Lafiya Dole for their versatility, responsibility and persistence and further consoled Nigerians of the Army's unalloyed obligation to crushing Boko Haram/SWAP psychological oppressors while asking residents to consistently profit the soldiers with precise and convenient data for brief activity.
