The Federal Government has denied claims that it is pampering bandits in the North and being hard on secessionists such as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the Southeast and the Yoruba Nation in the Southwest.
"There is this misconception that the federal government is softer on the terrorists in the north-east and the bandits from the north-west and the way they handle separatists and other criminals from the south-east and south-west." he said.
Lai Mohammed noted that soldiers and police are being killed by the bandits and there will be no reason to be softer on them.
He insisted that all criminals are treated the same way while adding that the federal government is winning the war against bandits and terrorists.
Lai Mohammed assured that in the nearest possible time, banditry and will be a thing of the past
