The 6 A-29 Tucano Jets That Will Be Launched By President Buhari On 31st August Should Scare Bandits

According to a report from Daily Post, President Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday, August 31, launch six newly acquired A-29 Super Tucano.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announced that Buhari will be at the launching ceremony as the Special Guest of Honour.

The event will begin at 10am on Tuesday, at the Presidential Air Fleet Apron, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Recall that the first batch of the 12 A-29 Super Tucano that was bought from America arrived in Kano on the 22nd of July 2021.

After launching, these jets would be used to fight insecurity in the country. Bandits should be on the run for their numerous crimes because there would be no hiding place once these jets are launched.

The A-29 Super Tucano Aircraft is a very fast jet. It would be able to cover a large area within a short period in search of bandits. The speed of this jet won't give bandits enough time to aim and shoot it down.

This aircraft is called a "light attack aircraft" because of its ability to aim at criminals hiding in bushes and other tight areas. It is equipped with a general-purpose bomb and guided air-to-ground and air-to-air missiles. Once the jet discovers any hideout belonging to bandits, a missile can be sent from afar to destroy it, the bandits wouldn't even have a chance to back.

The A-26 Tucano jet is also armed with two wing-mounted 12.7mm machine guns that can fire 1,100 rounds a minute, I don't think there's any weapon in the possession of bandits that can be used to block an attack from this jet.
