How 'Operation Hadin Kai' is Forcing Terrorists To Surrender In The North & The Need To Use It More

The Nigerian Troops have been trying their possible best to make sure they put an end to the unending activities of the terrorists in the Northern region of Nigeria.

For many years, the military has combated the insurgents in the Northeast region of Nigeria, and for several instances, the Nigerian troops have neutralized the terrorists that came across their ways during operation.

Recently, as reported by Daily Post, the Military, in its effort to end terrorism in the Northeast launched a new Operation known as Operation Hadin Kai. This operation was launched by the military to combat the terrorists in both Borno and Yobe states.

According to the report from Defense Headquarters, the troops of Operation Hadin Kai have been able to kill nothing less than 30 terrorists, arrest 71 while over 1,000 insurgents surrendered alongside their families. The Defence Media Director, Brig.-Gen. Bernard Onyeuko, who disclosed the good news to the newsmen said Operation Hadin Kai was launched on the 29th of October. And just within two weeks that the operation Hadin Kai began, the military has been able to record some victory over the terrorists.

Still speaking with the newsmen, Brig.-Gen. Bernard Onyeuko also disclosed that Operation Hadin Kai helped the military to rescue 97 civilians who were kidnapped by the terrorists, while 122 assorted weapons were recovered during the operation.

The military disclosed that 226 adult males, 406 adult females, and 555 children were the families of terrorists who surrendered to the troops.

Operation Hadin Kai has proven to be one of the operations that are currently yielding positive results for the military. According to the Defence Media Director, Gen. Bernard Onyeuko, the Operation was launched two weeks ago in Borno and Yobe state, but it has helped the troops to capture a lot of terrorists. It will be nice if the military deploys more troops into this operation so that the terrorists will be neutralized, and the country will be free of terrorism.

Deploying more military personnel into Operation Hadin Kai and spreading them across the regions where terrorists are hiding may help put an end to terrorism in Nigeria.
