One of the recently rescued student of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok that were abducted in 2014, Hauwa Maltha has disclosed the reasons why she married three different terrorists during the period of her captivity.
It would be recalled that Hauwa Maltha and Esther Marcuson were rescued from the hands of the terrorists on April 21, 2023, by troops of 114 Taskforce Battalion Bitta at Lagara, under the 21 Armoured Brigade Bama during Operations.
Speaking during an interview with Daily Trust Newspaper about her experience, the victim said she was forced into marrying them within the period.
Explaining further, Hauwa said the first husband disappeared before she was forced to marry another one. According to her, the second husband was killed during battle with the Nigerian Military before the Last marriage.
Hear her “We did not do it intentionally. I married three different men. There, I married another fighter at the village, and he died after a fight between the Shekau soldiers. I have two children with him before the last one.” daily trust Newspaper quoted Hauwa as saying.
