The Punch Newspaper is one of the most trusted and verified news media sources in Nigeria. It has a verified handle on Twitter. Some hours ago, the Punch Posted a cartoon on its handle, @mobilepunch and captioned it “Cartoon Flakes”.
However, this cartoon Flakes caused a lot of reactions from Nigerians on Social media, who read meanings and tried to interpret the post. In the post, a graphic version of the government struggling to fight off terrorists was painted.
Meanwhile, in the struggle, another arm which was on the governments arm was also supporting the terrorist.
The possible and clear meaning to this post is that while the government are struggling in the fight against terrorism, some hands of very influential politicians and citizens who claim to be on the side of the government are protecting these terrorists. And this is what has brought about the unending insecurity in the country.
