Christian Nun Regains Freedom After Four Years In Captivity Under Islamic Militants.

A Columbian Nun kidnapped in Mali in the year 2017 has finally regained her freedom. The reverend sister has been in captivity for more than four years.

She was captured during a missionary visit to the African country of Mali. On her mission to the local town of bamko, some radical militants attacked and took her hostage.

Several intelligence agencies have attempted her rescue since 2017 but their efforts have never proven fruitful. However, while she was in captivity, she has always sent out letters to her family assuring them of her safety.

Her brother recognized the letter to be authentic from her writing pattern(she would always write in capital letters) and from her signature.

Her release was announced in a press conference by the current president of Mali. He did not disclose if a ransom was paid for her or the means by which they secured her release. The important thing is she can finally be with her loved ones after four long years.
