Christians across Nigeria have been urged to intensify their efforts in praying to almighty God to help put an end go incessant kidnappings in the country and the freedom of abducted schoolgirls.
According to the Christian body, the rising spate of kidnapping and insecurity in Nigeria as a whole is becoming very worrisome, as well, the nation needs the help of God.
While calling on all Christians to put more efforts in praying for the release of the abducted Zamfara schoolgirls, the statement empathises with relatives of those who have been abducted.
The statement further said the association is disturbed by the rising cases of abduction is some states which includes Katsina and Niger State.
The Christian body however urged government and relevant stakeholders to jointly work out modalities in putting an end to the security challenges facing the nation as whole.
It would be recalled that Nigeria has witnessed an upsurge in criminal activities such as kidnapping, terrorism, herdsmen attack, banditry among others.
