The Minister of Defense, Bashir Magashi yesterday, challenged troops in the Northern region of Nigeria to step up the fight against terrorists by becoming more daring and should not be afraid of the bullet.
The honourable Minister of Defense who is also a retired brigadier-General stated during his visit to the troops that what should be on their mind is how to secure the country.
Senator Shehu Sani,on his recent tweet on his verified twitter account today stated that there should be a better phrase to encourage and boast the morale of the troops battling the insurgents in the North East region of Nigeria than to tell them not to be afraid of the bullets.
The issue of insecurity in the Northern region of Nigeria have been a major concern for successive government.
There have been little or no positive outcome since the fight against terrorists and bandits began many years ago but the soldiers are truly trying their best to combat it.
