Photos Of Kelechi And 5 Other Nigerians Making Us Proud In The US Navy

Not every Nigerian goes abroad to engage in crimes and soil the image of the country. There are some that have made us proud in ways like joining the US Navy which isn't something easy to do.

We know that when Nigerians travel abroad, they tend to be very successful because of how hardworking, intelligent and diligent they are. It's very sad and unfortunate that they could not achieve such great things when they were in their own country because of how the system has failed in many ways.

I will share the list of some Nigerians who are making us proud in the US Navy

1) Kelechi Ndukwe

He is a Nigerian-American who was mailed for his trailblazing appointment as a commander for a US Navy ship.

On 2 April he commanded the US Navy Guided Missile Destroyer, USS HALSEY (DDG-97)

2) Lieutenant Victor Agunbaide

This Nigerian man was commended by the US Navy for managing it's largest cash disbursement office which had about 45 million dollars. He was awarded the Navy and Marin Corp Development Medal for his exemplary accountability.

He made Nigeria proud by becoming a Junior officer in the US Navy. According to Abiola, he had to endure 13 weeks of pain and a fracture so he could graduate the Officer Candidate School (OCS).

4) Aregbesola

This Nigerian is a sailor in the US Navy. After many years of being jobless, he finally got the job when he moved to US.

5) Opeyemi Odetola

The daughter of Veteran Fuji Star, Pansuma made both her father and her country, Nigeria by becoming a US Navy officer. 

6) Mfon Essien

This Nigerian was a rapper before he moved to the US and joined the US Navy. He has said it is the best thing that happened to him as he has been more successful in life.
