The deputy governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe thanked the Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouq Yahaya and the Nigerian soldiers for their action in dealing with bandits in the state.

Lieutenant General Farouq Yahaya is a Nigerian Army and the current Chief of Army Staff of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He was appointed by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on 27th May, 2021 after the death of the former chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru.
