Borno State has indeed been the centre of attention, and this is because of the recent attacks by ISWAP on not only residents in the community but also the killing of some soldiers who were ambushed by these terrorists.

Residents in various communities of the State had begun to live in fear despite the Nigerian troops being able to kill many of the terrorists when they attacked and killed some of these gallant soldiers.

However, after what seemed like normalcy had returned in Borno State, ISWAP terrorists were reported, according to a verified publication, to have made an attempt to invade another village, but the intelligence received by the army to determine their location, and the quick action which was initiated by the soldiers, being the air and ground strike, ensured they were unsuccessful.

One would not be wrong to say that such actions from the Nigerian Army which paved the way in repelling the attack ensured these terrorists were unsuccessful in their attempt, thereby showing determination and courage in these soldiers to end terrorism, hence saving the lives of people in the community.

This is quite so because these terrorists had no other motive than to wreak havoc on innocent people, which could have resulted in the loss of innocent lives, as it could be seen in the past.

With such, one can say that these troops indeed saved lives of many people, as we all can continue to appreciate and support the Nigerian military as they fight to ensure the stronghold of terrorism in Nigeria is significantly broken.
