Mr Oluyemi Fasipe took to his twitter page early in the 15th July, 2020 to write "BREAKING: The Nigerian Army has instructed all its personnel to withdraw from all checkpoints and roadblocks nationwide with immediate effect. The Nigerian Police is to take over internal security operations nationwide henceforth.
ME: We are playing with fire!" - says Oluyemi Fasipe.
Seeing the above tweet has increased the level of fear in Nigerians especially those who travel alot.
While reacting to the tweet of Mr. Fasipe, one Asiwaju Gbobaniyi said "Abuja-Lokoja Okene roads! God! These kidnappers are out now, they are broke due to lockdown. Now that the lockdown is over, they av been operating without caution. Police cannot handle this alone. How on earth could over 300 soldiers resigned in a country and COAS still remains?"
Some others commenters believe this is how it should be, and things are gradually taking form and the Police will how fully assume their duties of protecting lives and properties.
