Nowadays, it has been an era of killing, raping, and kidnapping of citizens in the northern part of Nigeria, not only in the northern part of Nigeria but within other regions as well, by these mastermind criminals, the bandits, and terrorists. Insecurity, to my understanding, has been the major scenario we Nigerians have been facing in the country.
So today I would like to emphasize two ways citizens can stay safe from becoming victims of these criminals.
First and foremost, I would like the citizens of the northern part of the country to always be vigilant in public places and self-determined that the country is not what it was again.
So they should be aware of anything happening now and should always be observant of where they seem to be at any point in time. So if anything happens, they will know how to fight it or report it to the police. In that way, they can be able to reduce the crime rate in Nigeria and be protected.
Secondly, they should always report suspicious situations happening in their environment. If you find a person to be a suspect, keep your eye on the person to see who and what the person is.
Whether or not a situation is suspicious, you always seem to report any cases to the nearby police station in your area, or better still, you can call them on the phone so they will be able to track where the victim is calling from and rescue the person from the suspect without a second thought.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this information would be helpful to the citizens and could reduce the rate of terrorism and banditry in our country? Please kindly do so by leaving your thoughts and opinions in the comment section.
