The fact that the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (retd.), has reiterated the federal government’s resolve to continue to provide adequate logistics and equipment for the armed forces to perform their assigned tasks is no longer news. However, will the ESN Bandits attacks come to an end as FG speaks of providing adequate equipment for the military?

In Nigeria, bandits have wrecked havoc, kidnapping children and students from several schools in the country's northern areas. Their goal is to wreck havoc on property and murder innocent people. Recall how the Eastern Security Network (ESN) is busy carrying out its deadly activities in the Southeast, attacking security operatives, and destroying properties worth huge amounts of money. Though the federal government of Nigeria has joined hands with the military to make sure this deadly organization that is causing the country's unrest is eliminated.
However, as the Federal Government speaks about providing adequate equipment for the Nigerian military, many Nigerians are concerned about whether the ESN and Bandit attacks will stop. The question here is that will ESN Bandits attack come to an end as FG speaks of providing adequate equipment for the military?
Furthermore, the military presence in the Southeast and Northern regions should be strengthened. The security officers should be given all of the equipment they need to keep the area safe. This will make them able to withstand any attempt by this lethal group. If the security operatives are provided with adequate equipment, ESN, bandit attacks will gradually come to an end.
