(Opinion) Missing NAF Jet: Who Do We Believe, Boko Haram or The Nigerian Airforce?

Earlier this week, a Nigerian fighter jet, Alpha light attack jet was on mission to support troops fighting militants in northeastern part of Borno State went missing.

On Wednesday 31st of March 2021, the fighter jet lost radar contact with the NAF base.

NAF had no explanation on the missing jet, until the Boko Haram militant group released a video confirming how they carefully shot down the jet and killed the pilots.

Though there are indications that the wreckage of the missing Alpha jet belonging to the Nigerian AirForce has been found in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State which is about 30 kilometers outside of Maiduguri, the State capital.

The intriguing part of this,is that when the jet was shot down, were there no eye witness? Why should the Nigerian Air Force wait for the Boko Ha ram group to release a video claiming the attack, before making a statement?.

Kindly, comment your thoughts below.
