It's no news that the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammed Buhari has appointed the new Chief of Army Staff to lead the Nigeria Army.

Many Nigerians have shown their dissatisfaction with the appointment of Maj. Gen. Farouk Yahaya as the new COAS, many people thought that the president may consider a General from the southeastern Nigerian and also from regular course 35 as the former COAS spent only three months in office.
The newly appointed COAS was the commander of the "Hadin Kai" (Cooperation) operation which was formerly called "Lafiya Dole"(peace by force) in the northeast against Boko Haram and he has been effective in the suppression of the group's activity since his appointment.

The President's appointment is still in line with what every Nigerian wants which is a victory against Insecurity which Maj. Gen. Farouk Yahaya can be the answer.
Dear readers, please let us all pray for the new COAS that the Almighty Allah will be with him to fulfill the herculean mandate that has been given to him.
