Following an uptick in bandit attacks, the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, has decided to relocate the Desert Warfare Institute to Kano, according to Naija News.

Soldiers fighting Boko Haram Depressed, I've ordered troops rotation: Buhari
Many Nigerian soldiers have become unhappy as a result of the long-running struggle against Boko Haram and ISWAP militants, causing President Muhammadu Buhari to order a troop rotation.
Mr Buhari, a former military and dictator, acknowledged that many soldiers suffer from depression, claiming that battle-weary soldiers are suffering from "battle fatigue."
JUSUN Strike: Supreme Court waives default fees, others
The Supreme Court said on Thursday, that it will waive default fines and the computation of time in cases affected by the Nigerian Judiciary Staff Union's strike (JUSUN).
