A video have emerged allegedly showing a military attack helicopter known as Agusta a109 attack helicopter providing air support to the Nigerian army ground troops.
According to the video, several Nigerian troops were seen in their gun trucks and patrol vehicles allegedly pushing through the hostile areas in the Northeast of Nigeria, in search of the terrorist groups like Boko Haram and Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) who have been consistently attacking the region.
A Nigerian soldier was seen in the video acknowledging the support of the Nigerian Air Force in the field, saying that any bold trespassing by the terrorist groups like Boko Haram and Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) will end up dead.
The A109 attack helicopter is a very strong multipurpose helicopter which can be used for transportation, search-and-rescue, and other military roles in the field of operation.
