The high rate of insecurity in Nigeria is getting to another level as bandits, Boko haram, armed herdsmen, kidnappers among others keep attacking citizens on daily basis.
Nigeria which was one of the peaceful countries in the whole world has now turned to be one of the most terrorists nations especially with the birth of Boko haram a decade ago.
The terrorist group, Boko haram is one of the major challenges as all the efforts put by the Nigerian security system to end the group for several years by killing the head "Shekau" prove abortive until the coming of ISWAP.
ISWAP reportedly killed the leader of the Boko haram, Malam Shekau who was the Commander in chief of the terrorist group for several years. This came after the federal government has spent billions of naira on insecurities but one day an organization that is also counter-terrorist(anti boko haram) kills the leader.
These action by ISWAP draws the attention of senator Shehu Sani who was amazed by the scenario.
He said the Nigerian security team and finance experts should study how ISWAP wiped out the Boko Haram leader without spending billions.
What is he insinuating? What is his point?
Could it be he is talking about the corruption in insecurities or the inability of the army to killed Boko Haram leaders for decades despite having all arms?
This statement generated lots of mixed reactions from the Media some of which we've captured below.
WWhat can you say about the security challenge in Nigeria and the way out?
