During a press conference held by the Nigerian Army, one of the Army officials said, "Troops rescued one of the Chibok girls and also recovered 3 bags of salt, 1 carton of Maggi, and many others". Between May 4 and 12, 2023, troops arrested 25 Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa terrorist logistics suppliers at different locations within the theater of operations.
According to him, "They recovered 75 bags of fertilizer, 7 vehicles, 2 drums of premium motor spirits, 6 gallons of engine oil, 7 drums of water, 3 bags of grains, 3 bags of salt, 1 carton of Maggi seasoning, 12 host cables, 8 new tires, 1 carton of bulbs, 13 bicycle chains, 15 bicycle free wheels, 25 mobile phones, 12 air pumps, 4 bricks, 7 parts, and a sum of 69550 Naria only. On May 6, 2023, troops on a fighting patrol rescued Saratu Daura Dauda, one of the Chibok girls on Syria 10 of the list.
