There was no time to waste again as insecurity is gradually becoming the order of the day in the state. Just yesterday, the Federal High Court in the state's capital, Abakaliki, was burnt. Although not all the parts were razed down, the library was affected.

There was even an attack on one of its popular cities, Afikpo, on Monday night. Unknown gunmen killed soldiers and a civilian in the area. This resulted in panic in the area and other parts of the state. So, launching this was really a necessity.
