Days After NAF Alpha Jet Went Missing, Nigerian Troop Reacted By Eliminating Top ISWAP Commanders

Oh yeah! a good news has just dropped and it's emanating from Daily Post Nigeria. The Nigerian military troop have achieved another feat as they successfully eliminated top commanders of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) and scores of fighters in Borno in a major offensive.

Two commanders identified as Amir Abu-Rabi and Mohamer Likita, and dozens of their bodyguards and fighters, were eliminated by the Nigerian military troop.

Before their elimination, Abu-Rabi was responsible for the coordination of tax collection on behalf of the deadly terrorist group in the Lake Chad axis, and Likita was among controllers who coordinated series of attacks on military formations.

The aerial assault that took them out targeted at three major ISWAP hideouts at Kusuma, Sigir in Ngala and Arijallamari in Abadam Local Government Areas. The airstrikes were coordinated by the Air Task Force of the counter-terrorism operation, Operation Lafiya Dole.

The ISWAP group and the Boko Haram group have been a thorn in the flesh to the Nigerian government as they were solely bent on making Nigeria a nation of no peace.
