How bandits Strategically diverted police attention before attack suggests the force need reinforcement

FILE PHOTO: Bandits’ groups like these have grown in men and sophistication over the years

It was reported how suspected kidnappers attacked Ngurore police station in Yola south LGA of Adamawa and abducted the wife of one Alhaji Umaru, who is a nursing mother.

The bandits attacked the station at about 2:00am on Sunday, they targeted Alhaji Umaru, but they separated into 2 groups, one group attacked the police station to divert the attention of security operatives, while the other group attacked Alhaji Umaru's house and kidnapped his wife and her daughter.

Although the police, and anti-kidnapping units have now been deployed to the state.

The bandits however, came with strategic plan by first attacking a police station to divert their attention, before going after their main target. Knowing that if they had attacked them directly, the police would have countered them.

This is why the police should try as much as possible to be extremely intelligent and vigilant as they tackle the issue of insurgency, This bandits have proven that they usually have a plan before they launch any attack.

One way they can solve this situation is to make sure they have good communication with other near by police stations, so that they will be able to call the attention of other police men when bandits try to distract them before launching another kidnap.

They also need to be re-inforced with additional personnel or equipment to strengthen them,This way, they don't get trapped by bandits.
