A lot of Boko Haram members have surrendered themselves to the Nigerian military. Also, some of these repentant Boko Haram terrorists have asked Nigerians to forgive them and accept them into the society.

However, many groups and people have refused to forgive these repentant Boko Haram members and they have asked FG to kill them because of the crimes they committed. Recently, Lai Mohammed (Minister Of Information) slammed the people asking FG to kill and prosecute the repentant Boko Haram members during an interview with "News Agency of Nigeria" in Washington

So, here is why Lai Mohammed's reply to the people asking FG to kill the repentant Boko Haram members is a good answer.
Lai Mohammed Said That It's Wrong To Kill Repentant Boko Haram Members Because It's Against Some International Laws.
People should know that there are international laws that might not support the killing of these repentant Boko Haram members.
Therefore, FG will not like to disobey these laws by killing the repentant Boko Haram members.
Lai Mohammed Said That The Nigerian Military Is Ensuring That The Repentant "Boko Haram" Members Are Genuine Before Reintegrating Them Into The Society.
Also, Lai Mohammed made it clear that the repentant "Boko Haram" members are being investigated by the Nigerian Military to know if they have truly repented.

Therefore, i think it's a good idea to reintegrate these repentant insurgents after they have been Investigated.
