A recent development report from Sahara Reporters has just uncovered how the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has just placed 6 Nigerians under terror watchlist for supporting and financing terrorism in the country.

The report further disclosed how this very gesture is in alignment with the UAE's efforts to disrupt networks associated with funding terrorism in the country. The recent decision of the UAE on these suspects who were accused of sponsoring Boko Haram activities in Nigeria along with other criminal activities is however coming barely a year after they were indicted.

However, amid the recent unfortunate development, it's now certain that these terrorism sponsors have succeeded in tarnishing the image of Nigeria as a country, considering the fact that this would have a great negative effect on the integrity of Nigeria, thus portraying the country in a negative view among other neighboring countries.

Consequently, since these terrorism sponsors have already been placed on terror watch by the UAE I believe it's left for the Nigerian government to take a bold step towards contacting the UAE or possibly send a representative that will go for negotiation with the UAE government as a way of preserving Nigeria's integrity. If these terror sponsors could be relinquished by the UAE government to the Nigerian government to continue with their case, I believe it would go a long way in preserving the integrity of this nation.
