According to report reaching us from a reliable source, the federal government has received all the 12 A-29 Super Tucano fighter jets from the United States of America. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, who confirmed this in an interview on TV Continental yesterday, described the fighter jets as a "game-changer" and disclosed that they have been used for operations in the northeast. However, there is a reason why FG should deploy the Tucano fighter jets to the southeast to help combat unknown gunmen.

A violent group identified as "unknown gunmen" has been inflicting havoc in the Southeast. The Southeast used to be thought of as a calm region, but it is now beset by violent attacks. If the federal government of Nigeria deploys the newly acquired Tucano fighter jets to the southeast region where these deadly gangs operate, it will help flush them out of their hiding spots. This aircraft will go a long way to help get rid of unknown gunmen giving the southeast region unrest. One benefit of the super Tucano fighter jets is that they can be used to invade hidden areas that insurgents use as their hideouts. So it would be good if the federal government of Nigeria deploy the newly acquired Tucano fighter jets to the Southeast region.
