Opinion: I Won't Support Nnamdi Kanu's ESN Until I Get The Answers To These 3 Questions

It's no longer news that, a new security outfit called Eastern Security Network was launched last year in the eastern part of the country by Nnamdi Kanu in order to tackle the alarming rate of insecurity in the region. However, i'm still finding it difficult to support the security outfit due to the controversies surrounding it, and also the rejection of the group by the Nigerian government. Below are some few questions i want those who are in support of the group to help me answer;

1: Do they have the legal backing and support of south eastern governors? I have been following all updates about Eastern Security Network since it was launched last year, and to the best of my knowledge i don't think there's any eastern governor who's in support of the group.

Yes, i know self defense is important considering the insecurity in the country. But an unknown group of people moving around with AK 47 rifles, arresting and executing their suspects all in the name of self defense is a big "No" for me. In fact, even the legally created Amotekun don't have such power.

2: Are they interested in fighting crime in general or are they only going after herdsmen?

3: Where, and how do they get their arms from?

Do you have any answer to the questions i asked above? If yes, then kindly drop your answers in the comment section.
