A well Nigerian Islamic cleric and the director of Muslim Right Concern, MURIC, Ishaq Akintola, has urged the Buhari led government to ignore the allegation that was made by the Turkish President President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
It should be recalled that the Turkish President, Tayyip Erdogan, told the Nigerian media that Turkish Terrorist organisations is trying to remove President Buhari from office.
According to a statement that was released by Ishaq Akintola, he advised President Muhammadu Buhari to only key into the pragmatic gain of President Erdogan's visit.
Speaking further, MURIC stated that those groups the Turkish President described as terrorists have been in Nigeria for over 20 years building primary, secondary schools, universities, hospitals, engaging in humanitarian services.
He then stated it clearly that his group is against the attempt to label innocent Turkish citizens as terrorists, just because of political difference between them and their President.
That's a good one from MURIC. But I still think that the Turkish President made that statement because of one reason or the other. So I really think that investigation should be conducted so as to know whether the president is right or wrong.
