ISWAP Faction Of Boko Haram Warns Borno Residents Against Giving Out Information To The Military

In what appears to be a war of propaganda, the islamic state of West African Province (ISWAP) has warned residents of some communities under it's control in Borno state to desist from giving out information to the Nigerian Military.

According to news information posted by sahara reporters, the terrorist group are spreading propaganda through fliers that their members are circulating to residents of the affected communities, that the Nigerian military forced the inhabitants of the villages out of their homes and that they were also responsible for the killing of the residents.

It looks like the ISWAP faction of Boko Haram have now resulted to the use of propaganda to win over residents of communities under their control. It can be recalled that the terrorist group recently offered financial aid in the form of money to the people in a concerted effort to woo them over to their side and entice them to live under their caliphate.

The warning giving out by ISWAP was conveyed in fliers distributed by members of the group in what appears to be a market setting in Borno state.
