This is as 'unknown gunmen' have not stopped to terrorize the state that is located in the eastern region of Nigeria.
Dave Umahi, the state governor, in the security council meeting displayed commanders of Ebubeagu in the thirteen local government areas.
The security council also agreed to form what is called Joint Youth Vigilante Committee in communities that have experienced communal clash.
But for the Ebubeagu to work well, the Ebonyi state security council will issue out directives that they have mandated the police to enforce.
According to Orji, the reason for launching Ebubeagu is "on recent Killings in the state.
"We directed security agencies to do everything possible to bring perpetrators to justice.
"And must deepen collaborations and professionalism to fight the ravages of insecurity for state".

They need to register with the Commissioner of Police, Commissioner for Health and Commissioner for Internal Security and Border Peace.
All wake keep activities in the state must end by 6pm - Ebubeagu and Security Agencies must enforce the wake keep restrictions.
