Battalions rescue 10 kidnap victims of Kaduna Airport staff quarters
The Kaduna State Government said troops of the Nigerian Army on Wednesday, rescued the 10 victims kidnapped from the Kaduna Airport Staff Quarters on March 6.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan disclosed at a press conference in Kaduna. It could be recalled that bandits breached the fence of the Kaduna Airport Staff Quarters in the early hours of March 6, and kidnapped these 10 persons from two houses located near the fence.

Gunmen Attack Emir’s Car
The official vehicle of the Emir of Birnin Gwari in Kaduna state has been attacked by unknown gunmen. Samuel Aruwan, the Kaduna commissioner for internal security and home affairs, confirmed the development on Wednesday. The commissioner said the attack on the emir’s convoy occurred on Monday at about 4:30 pm, but only Umar Jibril, the driver, and Sani Yahaya, his police orderly, were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Nigerian Soldiers Flee As Boko Haram Takes Over Military Base
A faction of Boko Haram, Islamic West Africa Province, ISWAP have taken over a military base in Damasak town, Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to SaharaReporters, sources that spoke with the news platform disclosed that the terrorists attacked the community, shooting in all directions before ramming a pick-up truck loaded with explosives into the military base.
A resident who spoke on the incident noted that the terrorists attacked in different groups and could not be counted.
