Book haram have started sharing 20,000 naira per household in Geidam, Yobe state. They are attempting to persuade some of these residents to join its ranks as militants. As of Tuesday evening, the terrorist group had distributed funds to more than 50 households in Geidam, Yobe state. Some residents of that region have fled, and one of them has revealed that the group murdered two Christian employees. He stated that he left due to the selective killings that are currently taking place in that area.
The Vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osibanjo Stated that the reason why Nigeria is difficult to police is because of the enormous size of the country. He further stated that the country needs rearrangement of security structures, which will help to curb Security challenges facing the country. He made this declaration at the presidential villa where he hosted Alhaji Ahmed Abdullahi Hassan; The traditional ruler of Yakanaje Uke. The vice president reassured that country will soon overcome it's security challenges after restrategising of the security network.
