No fewer than 7 Jihadist were killed by gallant troops in another frontier in Borno state area .The gallant troops of sector 1, Operation Lafiya Dole has eliminates seven members of Boko Haram Jihadist along the road Ngwom- Mapa to Maiduguri in Borno state area. The Terrorist anbush failed as Nigerian troops engaged them in fighting .Seven Boko Haram Jihadist were killed by gallant troops . The gallant troops recovered AK 47 riffles and other logistics items.
However, the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole repel Boko Haram attacks at Damasak in Northeast region .
According to official update released by @HQ Nigerian army ,Troops repel Boko Haram incursion in to Damasak .The air task force and ground troops have successfully thwarted Boko Haram Jihadist in Borno state area .
The Terrorist attempted to invade Damasak ,the Headquarters of Mobar local government area in Borno state .But, the air Force components supports ground troops to neutralize several terrorist in a gun battle .
The Nigerian troops engaged Boko Haram Terrorist with heavy fire both air and ground which forced Terrorist to withdraw from the area .There are heavy casuallities in a Terrorist site .Two of the gallant troops died whilst one officer and two soldiers were injured . The injured soldiers are receiving treatment at Military hospital in Maiduguri.
Boko Haram Terrorist and Islamic state of West African Provinces are worsening security stituation in Borno state .The new Chief of Staff to Nigerian army and other commanders are committed to ensure that peace and Unity return to normal in Borno state area .
