I Don't See Bandits As Terrorists, Explains Babajide Otituju

You may recall that Nigerians and experts are concerned about the criminal activities of bandits in the north of the country. So far, there have been Nigerian journalist Babajide Otitoju said he did not recognize the bandits as terrorist. Babajide gave his opinion in a recent interview with TVC News.eports of bandits kidnapping students from the school, killing people and destroying property in the affected areas. Since then, Nigerian lawmakers have called for the bandits to be declared terrorists.

In an interview, Babajide said: "The United States has made it clear that they don't want us to use these weapons against bandits. They will use Tucano planes in the northeast. Remember that Donald Trump decided to sell weapons to Nigeria. Trump has invited our President and promised to help Nigeria in the war on terror and we bought these weapons to help us win the war on terror, but the United States doesn't see these bandits as terrorists.

Babajide continued, “My argument is that bandits are driven by a desire to make money, not ideology. That's not the definition of a terrorist. The purpose of the group is what we call the group. Bandits in the Northwest are only interested in the money their sponsors give them to kidnap people for ransom. The dictionary defines terrorism according to what the group does. In the dictionary we find the meaning of terrorism and bandit.
