Why Bandits Terrorising North West may Soon Lay Down their Arms

Winning war over insecurity in 21st century requires tactical move by the federal government, state government and security personnel. The tactics covered getting necessary tools that will facilitate smooth operation of the troops. 

The North West region of the country has been grossly affected with bandits operation in the last few months. Students, traditional leaders, farmers, market men and women have suffered a lot.

In a bid to fight the bandits to standstill, the state government in collaboration with Nigeria Communication Commission, (NCC) has shut down the telecommunications network in some local government areas of Zamfara ad Katsina States to expose banditry. Despite the arrest of few leaders of bandits, the deadly group keep operating on daily basis.

In a bid to curb the operation of the bandits, the newly acquired satellite communication vehicles will help the military operation to fight the deadly monsters, it will also expose activities of yet to be surrendered Boko Haram members and herdsmen in the country as a whole. 

With the assurance note from Chief of Army Staff, General Faruk Yahaya while commissioning the vehicles under Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command, bandits terrorising the North West may soon surrender in the country.

The newly acquired satellite communication vehicles will assist army to get useful information about the hideout of bandits. Once their hideout is exposed with the use of vehicles, the army can mobilise to the location and burst them.

To realise the objective of military in neutralising and arresting bandits, all North West governors must rally round support for the smooth operation of the troops. The end bandits attack is near with the commitment coming from the federal government.

The operation of the military in the coming days will no doubt expose the bandits and their sponsors with the use of satellite communication vehicles.
