Mixed Reactions As Boko Haram Insurgents Uncover Their Faces To Observe Eid-el-Fitr Prayers (Photos)

In what will continue to look like a shock to a lot of Nigerians, the Islamic State-backed faction of Boko Haram, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), has released photographs of militants belonging to the sect observing Eid-el-Fitr prayers at different locations in Nigeria without covering their faces. Even though the Nigerian Army has been dealing with these insurgents recently, they seems to be relentless.

According to the pictures that were monitored by Saharareporters, the insurgents were seems in four groups while praying together in an undisclosed place.

Recall that Muslims all over the world celebrated their Eid al-Fitr on May 13th.

Meanwhile Boko Haram has claimed the lives of a thousands of Nigerians while displacing over a million mostly in the northern part of Nigeria.

It could also be recalled that the Nigerian military has repeatedly claimed that the insurgency had been largely defeated and frequently underplays any losses.

However, the bravery decision taken by the insurgents has made a lot of Nigerians to have some mixed reactions online.
