ESN Camp In Akabo, Imo State Raided, Police Woman Kidnapped By Unknown Gunmen Rescued

It is no news that Nigeria is currently facing security challenges ranging from banditry, robbery to kidnapping and terrorism. The government has been putting necessary measures in place to curtail the ugly situation bedeviling the country. This is seen in the change of service chiefs by President Muhammadu Buhari sometimes back.

Some states in the core North of the country is being ravaged by the Boko Haram group while peace of the Southeastern part of the country is being threatened by unknown gunmen.

Reports reaching Igbo Watch has it that an Eastern Security Network (ESN) camp in Akabo, Ikeduru in Imo State has been raided by the police.

The operation was said to be carried out by DCP Abba Kyari and his team, rescuing a policewoman kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the process.
