Three Deadly Attacks By Bandits That Prove That They Have Declared War On Some Parts Of The North

Bandits are responsible for some attacks that claimed the lives of many people in the Northern part of Nigeria. It is now clear that they're not only kidnappers but murderers.

In this article, we'll be looking at three deadly attacks by bandits that prove that they have declared war on some parts of the north.

1. Bandits Killed 18 people in Katsina

According to reports from Premium Times, at least 18 people were killed by bandits on the 5th of July 2021 In an attack on Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State. The attack was confirmed by the police spokesperson in the state, Gambo Isah.

According to some residents that spoke after the attack, the bandits were on a reprisal mission because three of their members were killed in that same area by security men three days before their attack.

According to a report from The Guardian, the attacks took place in Gwer West and Katsina Ala local councils of the state.

According to some residents in the affected communities of Shikaan, Mbagena and Kpav, who spoke on basis of anonymity, the attack started in the early hours of Thursday, 27th May, and the bandits shot indiscriminately from house to house.

All these attacks by bandits prove that they have declared war on some parts of the north. The big question is, who are these bandits?

As of now, they're still faceless and that's one of the reasons why they can't be proscribed by the government.
