Reacting to the News of Miyetti Allah plotting to send 5000 Fulani vigilantes nationwide, the Igbo National Council (INC) have issued a strong warning to Miyetti Allah to avoid sending their Fulani vigilantes to the South East region, as they won't be welcomed.
The National President of the group had sternly noted that such statement from Miyetti Allah goes to show the peak of their excesses but this time, Igbo would not tolerate such actions as they will be met with tough resistance.
According to the Group, such plot by Miyetti Allah will not be welcomed. Adding that who they are warning Miyetti Allah not to proceed with such a plan. As any terrorist attack in OR against Igbo land would no longer be tolerated.
The group urge the Federal Government to take action in order to prevent issues that may result in anarchy and another civil violence in the country.
What do you think about this? Will the formation of Fulani Vigilantes nationwide result to violence and anarchy in the country? Why are South East leaders panicking? Don't the Fulani herdsmen have right to protect themselves? Let hear your opinion. Comment below
