As reported by Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 92 enemy strikes from five directions, according to a daily report from the General Staff of the Military Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook on March 12.
As reported, The adversary carried out 12 airstrikes and five missile strikes in the previous day, two of them were on the city of Zaporizhzhia. The S-300 missile system was employed by the Russian occupants to strike a piece of civilian infrastructure. One structure was consequently destroyed.
There were no casualties among civilians. The enemy also launched 56 MLRS assaults, specifically attacking a piece of civilian infrastructure in Kherson city. Three other people were hurt in addition to the two dead victims.
The administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions are still the enemy's goal. The enemy concentrated its efforts on carrying out offensive actions in the directions of Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk for this aim. 92 hostile attacks in these directions were stopped by Ukrainian troops thanks to their disciplined and well-planned tactics.
In the directions of Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna, the operating situation remained stable. In the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation still has a sizable military presence. There was no indication that hostile factions were forming. The enemy is also continuing to fortify the Bryansk and Kursk regions' borders. In the Kharkiv region, the enemy shelled eight settlements: Chervona Zoria, Krasne, Ohirtseve, Kolodiazne, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, and Kamyanka with mortars and artillery.
To stop our soldiers from deploying in other directions, the enemy maintained a sizable military presence in the regions bordering Ukraine in the Kupyansk and Lyman directions. The thirteen communities along the contact line were the target of artillery fire from the occupiers as they attempted to breach our troops' defences. Particularly affected were the Kharkiv regions of Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, and Pischane; the Luhansk regions of Novoselivske, Nevske, Kuzmyne, Bilohorivka, and Stelmakhivka; and the Donetsk regions of Dibrova, Rozdolivka, Spirne, and Yahidne.
The enemy persisted in attacking the village of Bakhmut in that direction. In the Donetsk region, enemy fire was heard at Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Kostiantynivka, Bila Hora, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Zalizne, and New York. Generally speaking, 15 communities in the direction of Bakhmut were struck.
The enemy attempted to launch an offensive in the directions of Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk against Kamyanka, Sieverne, Pervomayske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka in the Donetsk region but was unsuccessful. Eighteen settlements near the contact line, including Berdychi, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Bohoyavlenka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Oleksandropil, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomayske, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
The opposition is still defending itself in the directions of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. Malynivka, Huliaypole, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Olhivske, Chervone, Charivne, Tavriyske, Prydniprovske, Plavni, Kamyanske, and Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region; Novopil in the Approximately 40 communities were affected.
