Despite the government's order to reopen the school, Christian parents are headers continue to insist that Muslim students should not wear the hijab in their schools.
An eye witness said;
"On my way my working place, I saw many Christian at the entrance on the Baptist school gate preventing Muslims from entering into the school premises and suddenly the Christians started throwing stones at us".
“The government has reopened the schools and said we should live in peace with each other, but they still insist on their decision by denying the Muslim students from entering the school premises".
“Please, we need soldiers intervention into this situation so that the Christian will allow our students to enter into the school premises". He also added that "Soldiers Intervention Is Needed In Current Issue At Baptist School Ilorin"
