Yesterday, 19th July, 2020, the umbrella body of the entire Youth of Edumoga district, Okpokwu LGA, Benue State known as "Edumoga Youth Movement" under the leadership of Comr. Andy Ejembi, as part of its effort and commitment to supporting every developmental projects and work towards the growth, advancement and prosperity of Edumoga land free of insecurity, made a widows mite donation of 100 pieces of cement blocks to Odessassa community in Ugbokolo as a support for the ongoing rehabilitation and construction of drainages along the popular hitherto deplorable road that passes besides Mr. James Okwori's house to link Ugbokolo main town to the Otukpo - Enugu express road.
It was learnt that the deplorable and unmotorable nature of the road, most especially during raining season has been an issue of concern and headache for the entire Odessassa community and the entire residents of Ugbokolo town until one of their son, Mr. Sunday Abah fondly called "BOY OYI' ABAH" recently picked up the challenge and with his personal resources, embark on its rehabilitation and construction of drainages and the community itself began to also support him through manual labour and otherwise.
After the presentation of the blocks by the youth group, Chief. Olubi of Odessassa community who is also a vibrant member of Edumoga youth movement appreciated the youth group for bringing such "charity work" to his door step and there by made a pledge of 100 pieces of cement blocks to be delivered within the week as his own support for the community.
The President General and community chairman of Odessassa whom were on ground to receive the donations appreciated their effort, prayed that God continue to guide, uplift and replenish them to do more and also assured them of solidarity and support at any point in time.
