The memory of those that died still remained in our heart whether they are related to us or not. All those that lost their life in the ADC airline,plane crash on the 29 October, 2006. It was a sad day on this day;shortly after take off from Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport in abuja, the Boeing 737 contacted the ground, broke up and caught fire. The flight carried 105 passengers and five crew.
It was a day many people will live to remember and it was a air disaster that shook the country. Some notable Nigerians were on this plane,including, Mohammed maccido,the sultan of sokoto who also was the spiritual leader of Nigeria Muslim, the sultan son was on board also,senator Badamasi Maccido,the son of former president of Nigeria,Shehu Shagari and other Nigerians boarded the plane.
The flight was on a journey to one of the northern state,Sokoto. Although no reason for the crash was clearly given as people were speculating one reason or the other. Well,it was a big loss to the nation that will ever linger in our heart.
