Plane Crash

Dad of late air force officer, Arotile shares childhood memories; I wonder what type of IQ she had

Following the unfortunate demise of the first female combat pilot, Tolulope Arotile, who died on 14 July 2020, several visits have been made to her parents to console them.

Recalling and sharing the childhood memories of the young woman, her father mentioned she always dreamt of flying an aircraft.

He narrated, how that one day when she was very small she pointed to a small aircraft packed on the field and told him, ‘Dad, one day, I am going to fly that aircraft’ to which he replied "Amen"

He also made mention that since then she worked towards actualizing her dream.

She had been really intelligent right from day one, such that often I wonder what kind of IQ she had, she always mixed hard-work intelligence, he said.

"She wasn't just brilliant but wonderful, I can only thank God that before her death she was able to accomplish her dreams," he finally added.
