Here Is What Caused The Explosion In Katsina 
The Nigerian police have said findings from its preliminary investigation reveals that the Katsina Saturday explosion was caused by military grenade.
The explosion happened when
five children who died in the incident picked a military grenade and were were playing with it, police claim.
A bomb explosion had occurred at the Yammama village in Malumfashi Local Government Area of the Katsina state on Saturday, killing about five children and wounding others.
Mr. Gambo Isah, the Katsina state police command spokesperson in a statement disclosed the cause of the explosion.
Isah disclosed that the investigation was carried out by detectives from the police Explosive Ordinance Department (EOD) and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The police confirmed the death of five persons in the incident while
six others were severely injured.
Isah said the deceased are mainly children of one man, Alhaji Adamu of Yammawa village, Malumfashi LGA of Katsina state.
