It was learnt that at the same time, in the border town of Kolofata with Cameroon, Strong Response Area (SRA) Pulka troops neutralized six other militants trying to cross from the Cameroon border into the Sambisa Forest.

According to the statement of Mr Enenche:

Operation LAFIYA DOLE has continued intelligence-based operations that continue to degrade the Boko Haram / Islamic State of West Africa province across the theater.

It may be recalled that the troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE neutralized the eight prominent leaders of the disorganized, fugitive elements of the militants in their futile attempt to infiltrate the Army's Super Camp Damasak.

During such audacity, the terrorists met their aqueducts on July 2, 2020, when they were led by their top leaders (Amir) to attack the troops in Damasak, which caused them massive casualties.

Attempts were from 2 flanks. However, the terrorists were devastated by the dog's own army, superior fire power and maneuvers and the rest survived completely, Mr Enenche said.
