Major General John Eneche the coordinator Defense Media said this was achieved on 14 November 2020. He said co-ordinated air strikes were executed at two different locations Gobars and the Sambisa "S" Region.
He said the Boko Haram Terrorist camps were covered by dense vegetation and the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jets took turns in destroying the spotted camps in the dense vegetation of the Sambisa which used to be a National game reserve.
Sambisa Forest used to be a game reserve, it covers an area of approximately 60,000 square kilometres across the North Eastern States of Borno, yobe, Gombe, Bauchi, Jigawa and some parts of Kano.
Nigerians honestly hope for the end of Insurgency, banditry and terrorism as it has affected the economy and livelihood of it citizens with the constant loss of life and property.
