Why Tinubu Said That He Will Allow Sanwo Olu To Banter Wike- Bwala

A recent political event in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, featuring the former governor of Lagos state and the current governor of Rivers state, has caught the attention of many. According to Daniel Bwala, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and member of the Atiku-Okowa presidential campaign council, the highlight of the event was the way former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, responded to Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike.

During the event, both Tinubu and Wike spoke extensively. Tinubu, while addressing the crowd, stated that he owes Wike nothing and that Wike would have to lobby to get anything from him. Furthermore, Tinubu stated that he was going to allow Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu, to banter with Wike during his visit.

Bwala noted that what impressed him the most was Tinubu's response to Wike. He explained that Tinubu's statement, "meaning I am not your mate," sent a clear message that he feels he is superior to Wike. The event has sparked a lot of conversation among political commentators and has been widely discussed in the media.
