The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has today took the ruling All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate and President-Elect in the last February 25th general election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on a familiarization tour of the Aso Rock Villa.
This was in conformity to get more fully prepared ahead of the May 29th inauguration and swearing-in ceremony which is scheduled to come up on Monday at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
Ahead of time, several steps have been taken towards making the May 29 event a successful one that will go down in the history of the country in respect to power transition, part of which include conferring the President-elect and former Governor of Lagos State as the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (GCFR).
The step was then taken further today as President Muhammadu Buhari took Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu round on a tour to get more familiarized and acclimatized on some parts of the Presidential Villa.
This took place today after both the President and President-Elect had observed their Friday Jumat prayers at the Presidential Villa Mosque, after which they checked out some departments that are key to the workings of the Presidency.
